How to use Simvotin 10 Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Simvotin 10 Tablet is to be taken with food.

How Medicine Works

Simvotin 10 Tablet is a lipid-lowering medication (statin). It works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-CoA-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL).

Simvotin 10 Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.

Simvotin 10 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.

Simvotin 10 Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
