Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lamight 50 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Lamight 50 mg Tablet is an antiepileptic medication. It controls seizures or fits by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.

Lamight 50 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lamight 50 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Monitor the baby for rash, sleepiness or poor sucking. Also, get the platelet count and liver function test done periodically.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Lamight 50 mg Tablet can cause dizziness and double vision. This may affect your ability to drive.
Lamight 50 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Lamight 50 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
