Wax Off Drop is a combination of four medicines: Paradichlorobenzene, Chlorbutol, Turpentine Oil and Lidocaine/Lignocaine. Paradichlorobenzene works by softening and assisting the removal of hardened ear wax. Chlorbutol is a preservative. Turpentine Oil causes warmth and redness which can help relieve pain in the ear. Lidocaine/Lignocaine is a local anesthetic. It works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to brain which decreases sensation of pain.
