Iopromide belongs to a class of drugs known as Iodinated radiographic contrast agent. It enhances imaging due to its high Iodine content attenuating the beam of X-rays during examination.

Ultravist 300 mg I/ml Injection is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
It is not known whether Ultravist 300 mg I/ml Injection alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
