Pneumovax 23 Injection is a vaccine which helps develop immunity by initiating a mild infection. This type of infection does not cause illness but stimulates the body"s immune system to produce antibodies (proteins) to protect against any future infection

Pneumovax 23 Injection should be used with caution during lactation. Breast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
Pneumovax 23 Injection does not usually affect your ability to drive.
