Procyclidine (5mg)
Proclid 5 mg Tablet is used in Parkinson"s disease and drug induced abnormal movements.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Proclid 5 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Proclid 5 mg Tablet is a muscle relaxing medication. It works by decreasing the activity of excess acetylcholine in the brain. This improves muscle control and reduces stiffness. It helps patients with Parkinson"s disease by improving muscle control and reducing stiffness so that they can move more naturally. It is also used to treat movement disorder (restlessness, involuntary movements or muscle spasm ) which can be caused by certain drugs.

Proclid 5 mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Proclid 5 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Proclid 5 mg Tablet should be used with caution during lactation. Breast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
You may have blurred vision, dizziness, confusion or disorientation while taking Proclid 5 mg Tablet and this may affect your ability to drive
Proclid 5 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Proclid 5 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
