How to use Rosurite 10 mg Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Rosurite 10 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Medicine Works

Rosurite 10 mg Tablet is a lipid-lowering medication (statin). It works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-CoA-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL).

Taking alcohol with Rosuvastatin increases the chances of liver dysfunction.

Rosurite 10 mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.

Rosurite 10 mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.

Rosurite 10 mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Rosurite 10 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Rosurite 10 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
