Troymidate 20 mg/10ml Injection is a general anaesthetic. It works by causing reversible loss of consciousness. This allows surgical procedures to be carried out without pain and distress.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Troymidate 20 mg/10ml Injection is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Breastfeeding can be resumed as soon as the mother has recovered sufficiently from general anesthesia to nurse.
Troymidate 20 mg/10ml Injection may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Troymidate 20 mg/10ml Injection is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Troymidate 20 mg/10ml Injection is recommended.
Troymidate 20 mg/10ml Injection should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Troymidate 20 mg/10ml Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
