Ranolazine (500mg)
Rolazin 500 mg Tablet is used to prevent chest pain (angina).

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Rolazin 500 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Taking it with food may lessen the chance the Rolazin 500 mg Tablet will upset the stomach.
Rolazin 500 mg Tablet is an anti-anginal medication. It works by decreasing the oxygen requirement of the heart by relaxing heart muscle.

Rolazin 500 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Rolazin 500 mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
It is not known whether Rolazin 500 mg Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Rolazin 500 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Rolazin 500 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Rolazin 500 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Use of Rolazin 500 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with moderate to severe liver disease.
