Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Topamac 25 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Topamac 25 mg Tablet is an antiepileptic medication. It controls seizures or fits by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.

Topamac 25 mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Topamac 25 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Topamac 25 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Topamac 25 mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Topamac 25 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Topamac 25 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
