Heppacine B 20 mcg Injection is a vaccine which helps develop immunity by initiating a mild infection. This type of infection does not cause illness but stimulates the body"s immune system to produce antibodies (proteins) to protect against any future infections.

Heppacine B 20 mcg Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Heppacine B 20 mcg Injection is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Heppacine B 20 mcg Injection does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Heppacine B 20 mcg Injection is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Heppacine B 20 mcg Injection is recommended.
However, please inform your doctor if you have an underlying kidney disease.
Heppacine B 20 mcg Injection is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Heppacine B 20 mcg Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
