Glycopyrrolate (2mg)
Glycolate 2 Tablet is used in drooling or excessive salivation. It is used to reduce the drooling of saliva in patients with permanent movement disorders (eg. cerebral palsy).

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Glycolate 2 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Glycolate 2 Tablet is an anticholinergic medication. It works by blocking the activity of a chemical messenger (acetylcholine) which leads to de-activation of cells that produce saliva. This reduces excessive salivation or drooling.

Glycolate 2 Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Glycolate 2 Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Glycolate 2 Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Long-term use of Glycolate 2 Tablet might reduce milk production.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Glycolate 2 Tablet may affect vision and coordination. This may affect your driving ability.
Glycolate 2 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Glycolate 2 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
There is limited information available on the use of Glycolate 2 Tablet in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
