Stugeron Plus Tablet should be taken with food to avoid stomach upset. Take this medicine as advised by your doctor and preferably at a fixed time each day. Do not skip any doses, but if you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. Finish the full course of treatment and never stop this medicine suddenly without talking to your doctor.Some common side effects of using this medication are dryness of mouth and stomach pain. To overcome dryness, it is advised to drink more water, always carry sugar candy or maintain oral hygiene. It can cause dizziness and sleepiness as well. So, do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Usually, it is advisable to avoid alcohol while taking the medicine.Before taking this medicine, it is better to inform your doctor if you are suffering from peptic ulcer, asthma, or low blood pressure. You must inform your doctor if you are taking any other medicines regularly, as it may affect the way this medicine works for you. Pregnant or breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctor before taking this medicine.

Stugeron Plus Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cinnarizine and Dimenhydrinate. Cinnarizine is a calcium channel antagonist which works by preventing constriction of the blood vessels of the inner ear. This improves the microcirculation of the ear. Dimenhydrinate is an antiallergic. It blocks the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) that is responsible for light-headedness in vertigo.

Stugeron Plus Tablet may cause indigestion. However, taking it with or after food can prevent indigestion. Talk to your doctor if indigestion persists.
Stugeron Plus Tablet is considered to be harmful for patients with hypersensitivity to the active substances, diphenhydramine or other antihistamines of similar structure or to any of the excipients. Stugeron Plus Tablet should be avoided in patients with glaucoma, fits, increased intracranial pressure, alcohol abuse, urinating issues, liver or kidney disease. It is also not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Visit the nearest emergency department if you accidentally take too much of this medicine. Symptoms of an overdose may include tiredness, pupil dilation, unable to urinate, dry mouth, flushing, fast heart rate, sweating, headache, dizziness and shakiness.
If you miss a dose of Stugeron Plus Tablet, you should skip the missed dose and take the next dose at its usual time and quantity. You should not take a double dose of Stugeron Plus Tablet to make up for a missed dose.
You should not stop taking Stugeron Plus Tablet until your doctor asks you to. If you stop taking Stugeron Plus Tablet earlier than advised, the symptoms of vertigo may reappear (dizziness and spinning).
Keep this medicine in the container or the pack it came in, tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions mentioned on the pack or label. Dispose of the unused medicine. Make sure it is not consumed by pets, children and other people.
