Description of Novex DS Tablet

In higher doses, Novex DS Tablet is also used to control abnormal vaginal bleeding in women who have not attained menopause (end of the monthly menstrual period). This medicine is only taken once a week, either with or without food. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor is the right person to decide the exact dose, hence follow your doctor's advice.It is a non-hormonal medicine with very minimal side effects but in some cases, it may cause irregularity in your menstrual cycle. If this bothers you or appears serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing this. Before taking this medicine let your doctor know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works.

How to use Novex DS Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Novex DS Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Novex DS Tablet is a birth control pill. It acts by preventing the implantation of the fertilized ovum to the womb (uterus).
