WAF 5 Tablet is used to prevent blood clots. It helps prevent the formation of blood clots in legs, lungs, heart or any other parts of the body.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. WAF 5 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Avoid WAF 5 Tablet with Vitamin K rich food such as spinach, collards, broccoli, spring onions, cucumber and dried basil.
WAF 5 Tablet is an anticoagulant. It works by preventing the formation of harmful blood clots. Although it does not dissolve the existing blood clots, it prevents them from growing larger and causing blockages in the blood vessels.

WAF 5 Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.
WAF 5 Tablet is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
WAF 5 Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
WAF 5 Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of WAF 5 Tablet is recommended.
However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease. Regular blood tests are recommended when you are taking this medicine.
WAF 5 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of WAF 5 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
