Sazo EN 500 mg Tablet is a Disease Modifying Anti-Rheumatoid Drug (DMARD). It works by suppressing the overactivity of the immune system in autoimmune diseases and blocks the chemical messengers that cause inflammation (swelling). It has an additional anti-bacterial property which helps prevent bacterial growth.

Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Sazo EN 500 mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Sazo EN 500 mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Sazo EN 500 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Sazo EN 500 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Regular monitoring of kidney function tests is advisable while you are taking this medicine.
Sazo EN 500 mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.
