ATM 200 Oral Suspension is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is used in bacterial infections of tonsils, sinus, ear, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues, and lungs (pneumonia).

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. ATM 200 Oral Suspension may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
ATM 200 Oral Suspension is an antibiotic. It works by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Thus, it stops the bacteria from growing, and prevents the infection from spreading.

Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
ATM 200 Oral Suspension is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
There may be a possibility of diarrhea or rash in the baby.
ATM 200 Oral Suspension does not usually affect your ability to drive.
ATM 200 Oral Suspension should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of ATM 200 Oral Suspension may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
