Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nitocef-AZ Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Medicine Works

Nitocef-AZ Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Cefixime and Azithromycin. Cefixime works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of the bacteria. Azithromycin stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
