Nitrocin 25 mg Injection is a nitrate. It works by relaxing the blood vessels which decreases the oxygen demand of the heart and reduces its workload. It thus prevents/treats attacks of angina (chest pain).

Nitrocin 25 mg Injection may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).
Nitrocin 25 mg Injection is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Nitrocin 25 mg Injection is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Nitrocin 25 mg Injection may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Nitrocin 25 mg Injection is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Nitrocin 25 mg Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
There is limited information available on the use of Nitrocin 25 mg Injection in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
