Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. IND SR 1.5 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
IND SR 1.5 mg Tablet is a thiazide diuretic. It lowers blood pressure by removing the extra water and certain electrolytes from the body. Over time it also works by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow.
Related Warnings
Taking Indapamide with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
IND SR 1.5 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
IND SR 1.5 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
IND SR 1.5 mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
IND SR 1.5 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of IND SR 1.5 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
