Tinnicar Capsule may be taken with or without food. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor and if you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Always remember that you may have to undergo some medical tests to check for an underlying disorder which may have tinnitus as a symptom.Some common side effects of this medicine include headache, nausea and dry mouth. It even causes dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Apart from medicine following methods can be helpful to reduce tinnitus. Try to divert your attention to activities around you and play some music in the background during the day and while falling asleep. You should quit smoking and try to keep away the stress. But, when highly troubled by tinnitus, try wearing a tinnitus suppressor or masker.

Tinnicar Capsule is an oto-neuroprotective (inner ear protective) medication. It works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger in the brain (glutamate) thereby reducing the severity of tinnitus.

You should not take Tinnicar Capsule if you are hypersensitive to this medicine. You should also avoid taking this medicine if you have acute stomach & intestinal ulcers. You should be cautious if you have gastritis, liver damage or acute voiding disorder.
