Oncotrex 50 mg Injection is an anti-cancer medication. It works by blocking an enzyme (dihydrofolate reductase) involved in DNA synthesis in cancer cells. This slows the growth of cancer cells and eventually kills them.

Taking Methotrxate with alcohol increases the risk of liver damage.
Oncotrex 50 mg Injection is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.
Oncotrex 50 mg Injection is unsafe to use during lactation. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby, or the mother is suffering from a condition in which breastfeeding is not advisable.
Oncotrex 50 mg Injection may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Oncotrex 50 mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Oncotrex 50 mg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Regular monitoring of kidney function test is advised while you are taking this medicine.
