Zathrin 100 Redimix Suspension is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is used in bacterial infections of tonsils, sinus, ear, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues, and lungs (pneumonia).

Zathrin 100 Redimix Suspension may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Zathrin 100 Redimix Suspension is an antibiotic. It works by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Thus, it stops the bacteria from growing, and prevents the infection from spreading.

Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Zathrin 100 Redimix Suspension is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
There may be a possibility of diarrhea or rash in the baby.
Zathrin 100 Redimix Suspension does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Zathrin 100 Redimix Suspension should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Zathrin 100 Redimix Suspension may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
