How Glimepiride+Metformin+Ramipril works

This is a combination of three medicines: Glimepiride, metformin, ramipril. Glimepiride is a sulfonylurea which works by increasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas in order to lower the blood glucose. Metformin is a biguanide which decreases the production and absorption of sugar in your body and allows better use of existing insulin. Ramipril is an ACE inhibitor which works by relaxing blood vessels so that blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently.

Nausea, Altered taste, Stomach pain, Diarrhoea, Headache, Weakness, Cough, Decreased blood pressure, Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level), Increased potassium level in blood

Usage

Glimepiride+Metformin+Ramipril is used in the treatment of diabetes with hypertension.
