Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Prolin N 5 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Prolin N 5 mg Tablet is a synthetic progestin. It works by mimicking the effects of natural progesterone (female hormone). It helps regulate the growth and shedding of the womb lining, thereby treating menstrual irregularities.

Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.
Prolin N 5 mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Nonhormonal contraceptives are preferred in breastfeeding women, especially during the first 4 weeks postpartum
Prolin N 5 mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
There is limited information available on the use of Prolin N 5 mg Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
Prolin N 5 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Prolin N 5 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Prolin N 5 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease. Inform your doctor if you develop signs of jaundice like yellowing of eyes and skin, itching, and clay colored stools.
