Sevcar 800 mg Granules is used in the treatment of increased phosphate levels in blood. It is used in patients with kidney problems and on dialysis.

Sevcar 800 mg Granules inhibits the absorption of phosphate from the intestine and lower the phosphate levels in the blood.

Sevcar 800 mg Granules is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
It is not known whether Sevcar 800 mg Granules alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Sevcar 800 mg Granules is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Sevcar 800 mg Granules is recommended.
However, regular monitoring of calcium levels is advisable in these patients.
Sevcar 800 mg Granules is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Sevcar 800 mg Granules may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
