Azenam 500mg Injection is given as a drip (intravenous infusion) or as an injection directly into a vein or a muscle under the supervision of a healthcare professional. It should be used regularly at evenly spaced time intervals as prescribed by your doctor. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may lead to the infection returning or worsening.Rash, vomiting, nausea, and diarrhea may be seen as the most common side effects. Temporary pain, swelling, and redness at the injection site may also occur at the injection site. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects persist or if your condition does not improve despite treatment.Inform your doctor if you have any previous history of allergy or heart problems before taking this medicine. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using this medicine.

Consuming alcohol with Azenam 500mg Injection does not cause any harmful side effects.
Azenam 500mg Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Azenam 500mg Injection is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Azenam 500mg Injection does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Azenam 500mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Azenam 500mg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Regular monitoring of kidney function test is advised while you are taking this medicine.
Azenam 500mg Injection is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Azenam 500mg Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Azenam 500mg Injection can be safely used in patients who are allergic to penicillins. This medicine has shown no cross-reactivity when used in patients with penicillin allergy.
