Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Solvin Decongestant Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Solvin Decongestant Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Bromhexine and phenylephrine which relieve cold symptoms. Bromhexine is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

It is not known whether Solvin Decongestant Syrup alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Solvin Decongestant Syrup should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Solvin Decongestant Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Regular monitoring of blood pressure is advised for dose adjustment.
