Klarim 500 Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is used in infections of tonsils, sinus, ear, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues and lungs (pneumonia).

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Klarim 500 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Klarim 500 Tablet is an antibiotic. It works by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Thus, it stops the bacteria from growing, and prevents the infection from spreading.

Klarim 500 Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Klarim 500 Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
