Bolofen 20 mg Tablet XL is used for muscle relaxation. It treats muscle spasms which may occur in diseases affecting the nervous system, such as cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, motor neuron disease, or injury to head, brain or spine.

Bolofen 20 mg Tablet XL is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centres in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm without reduction in strength. This improves pain and movement of muscles.

Bolofen 20 mg Tablet XL may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Bolofen 20 mg Tablet XL may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Bolofen 20 mg Tablet XL is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Bolofen 20 mg Tablet XL may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Bolofen 20 mg Tablet XL should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Bolofen 20 mg Tablet XL may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
