Diconil Injection is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Taking diclofenac with alcohol can increase your risk of stomach bleeding.
Diconil Injection is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Diconil Injection is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Diconil Injection may cause headaches, blurred vision, dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. This may affect your ability to drive.
Diconil Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Diconil Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Regular monitoring of liver function tests is recommended in patients with liver disease if this medicine is to be taken for a long time.
