Take it with food if stomach upset occurs.
Capex Dmr Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Chlorpheniramine Maleate and Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, which relieves dry cough. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic which helps reduce cough associated with allergies by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger, histamine. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is a cough suppressant which relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough center in the brain.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Capex Dmr Syrup is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Capex Dmr Syrup may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Capex Dmr Syrup is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Capex Dmr Syrup may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
