How to use Pentids Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Pentids 200 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Medicine Works

Pentids 200 Tablet is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.

• You have been prescribed Pentids 200 Tablet for the treatment of bacterial infections.
• Finish the prescribed course, even if you start to feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat.
• Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn"t stop or if you find blood in your stools.
• Inform your doctor immediately if you develop an itchy rash, swelling of the face, throat or tongue or breathing difficulties while taking this medicine.
