Valprol Syrup is an antiepileptic medication. It controls seizures or fits by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.

Valprol Syrup may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Valprol Syrup is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Valprol Syrup is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Monitor the baby for unusual bruising or bleeding, jaundice and other signs of liver damage.
Valprol Syrup may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Valprol Syrup is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Valprol Syrup may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Valprol Syrup should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Valprol Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Valprol Syrup is not recommended in patients with the severe liver disease.
