Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tido Tablet is to be taken with food.
Tido Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Doxycycline and Tinidazole. Doxycycline stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Tinidazole kills bacteria and other infectious microorganisms by damaging the DNA.

Tido Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).
Tido Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Tido Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Tido Tablet may make you feel drowsy or gives you problems with coordination or sensation (e.g. numbness or weakness). This may affect your driving ability.
Tido Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Tido Tablet is recommended.
Tido Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Tido Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
