Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Risdone MT 1 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Risdone MT 1 Tablet is an atypical antipsychotic. It works by affecting the levels of chemical messengers (dopamine and serotonin) to improve mood, thoughts and behavior.

Risdone MT 1 Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Risdone MT 1 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Risdone MT 1 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Risdone MT 1 Tablet may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Risdone MT 1 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Risdone MT 1 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
