Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Proxym MR Tablet is to be taken with food.

Proxym MR Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Etodolac and Thiocolchicoside, which relieves pain and relaxes the muscles. Etodolac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm. It relieves pain and improves the movement of muscles.

Taking Etodolac with alcohol may increase the risk of stomach bleeding.
Proxym MR Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Proxym MR Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Proxym MR Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Proxym MR Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Regular monitoring of kidney function tests is advisable while you are taking this medicine.
