How to use Rockbon Kit

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label before use. Rockbon Kit is to be taken empty stomach.
Take it in the morning right after getting up from the bed. Do not drink or eat anything (except water) atleast for 60 minutes after taking this medicine.

How Medicine Works

Rockbon Kit is a combination of two medicines: Ibandronic Acid, Calcium and Vitamin D3 which treat osteoporosis. Ibandronic Acid is a bisphosphonate. It works by suppressing the activity of osteoclasts, cells that cause destruction of bone. This strengthens the bone and minimizes the risk of fractures. Calcium helps build and maintain bones, while Vitamin D3 helps your body effectively absorb Calcium. Vitamin D3 additionally supports the muscles needed to avoid falls.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Rockbon Kit is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Rockbon Kit does not usually affect your ability to drive.
