Tamflo DFZ Capsule PR is a combination of two medicines: Tamsulosin and Deflazacort. Tamsulosin is an alpha-blocker. It works by relaxing the muscle around the bladder exit and prostate gland so as to allow easy passage of urine. Deflazacort is a steroid medicine. It works by reducing inflammation (swelling) in the kidneys to promote the passage of the stones through urine.

Taking tamsulosin with alcohol may lower your blood pressure. This can cause dizziness or feeling like you might pass out, especially when getting up from a sitting or lying position.
Tamflo DFZ Capsule PR may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Tamflo DFZ Capsule PR is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Tamflo DFZ Capsule PR does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Tamflo DFZ Capsule PR is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Tamflo DFZ Capsule PR is recommended.
However, inform your doctor if you have any kidney disease.
Tamflo DFZ Capsule PR should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Tamflo DFZ Capsule PR may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
