Usage of Trancodol DT 1.5 Tablet

Trancodol DT 1.5 Tablet is used in the treatment of schizophrenia.

How to use Trancodol DT 1.5 Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it. Trancodol DT 1.5 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Trancodol DT 1.5 Tablet is a typical antipsychotic. It works by blocking the action of dopamine, a chemical messenger in the brain that affects thoughts and mood.

Trancodol DT 1.5 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Trancodol DT 1.5 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

  • Do not start or continue haloperidol, if you are allergic to haloperidol or any other ingrediants in the formulation.
  • Do not take haloperidol, if you have irregular heart beat (arrhythmia) or unusually slow heart beat.
  • Do not use haloperidol, if you have Parkinson’s disease; low white blood cells levels.
  • Avoid using haloperidol, if you have liver or kidney disease, fits, depression, problems with your thyroid gland, a non-cancerous tumour of the adrenal gland (phaeochromocytoma; causing episodic or persistent rise in blood pressure).
