Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Serenace Liquid may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Taking haloperidol together with alcohol may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, and difficulty concentrating.
Serenace Liquid may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Serenace Liquid is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
If Serenace Liquid is used, monitor the baby for excessive sleepiness.
Serenace Liquid may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Serenace Liquid is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Serenace Liquid is recommended.
However, patients with severe kidney disease may need to be started at a lower dose as it may cause excessive sleepiness in these patients.
Serenace Liquid should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Serenace Liquid may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
