Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Zolfresh 12.5 mg Tablet CR may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Zolfresh 12.5 mg Tablet CR belongs to a group of medicines called sedative-hypnotics. It works by slowing activity of the nerve cells in the brain and helps fall asleep.

Zolfresh 12.5 mg Tablet CR may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Zolfresh 12.5 mg Tablet CR is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Zolfresh 12.5 mg Tablet CR is safe as per American Association of Pregnancy.
Zolfresh 12.5 mg Tablet CR may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Zolfresh 12.5 mg Tablet CR is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Zolfresh 12.5 mg Tablet CR is recommended.
However, inform your doctor if you have any kidney disease.
Zolfresh 12.5 mg Tablet CR should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Zolfresh 12.5 mg Tablet CR may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Zolfresh 12.5 mg Tablet CR is generally started at a low dose in patients with mild to moderate liver disease and is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
