Antiflu 12 mg/ml Syrup is used in the treatment and prevention of influenza (flu). It is also used in the treatment of H1N1 influenza (Swine flu). It would be advised by your doctor when you have symptoms of influenza (flu) or if there is influenza virus outbreak in your community.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Antiflu 12 mg/ml Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Antiflu 12 mg/ml Syrup is a neuraminidase inhibitor. It stops the spread of influenza (flu) virus in the body and helps in fast relief from influenza (flu) symptoms like a stuffy or a runny nose, sore throat, cough, muscle or joint aches, tiredness, headache, fever, and chills.

Antiflu 12 mg/ml Syrup may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Antiflu 12 mg/ml Syrup is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Antiflu 12 mg/ml Syrup does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Antiflu 12 mg/ml Syrup should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Antiflu 12 mg/ml Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Antiflu 12 mg/ml Syrup should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Antiflu 12 mg/ml Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Limited information is available on use of Antiflu 12 mg/ml Syrup in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.
