NV Tablet is a combination of three medicines: doxylamine, vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) and folic acid, which treats nausea and vomiting associated with pregnancy. Doxylamine is an antihistamine which works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (histamine), thereby controlling nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) is a form of vitamin B which possesses anti-nausea properties. Folic is also a form of vitamin B which provides essential nutrients.

NV Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
NV Tablet is safe to use during pregnancy.
Adequate and well-controlled human studies have shown low or no risk.
NV Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Larger doses or prolonged use of NV Tablet may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby
NV Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
NV Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of NV Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
