This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.
Red Rid Plus Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Naphazoline and Chlorpheniramine Maleate which relieve eye itching/discomfort caused by allergies. Naphazoline is a decongestant which works by narrowing blood vessels of the eye to relieve inflammation. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic which blocks the action of certain chemical messengers responsible for red, itchy, teary eyes.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Red Rid Plus Eye Drop is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Larger doses or prolonged use of Red Rid Plus Eye Drop may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby
Red Rid Plus Eye Drop may cause blurring of your vision for a short time just after its use. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
