Solprate CR 300 Tablet is a combination of two antiepileptic medicines: Sodium Valproate and Valproic Acid. They work together to control seizures or fits by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.

Solprate CR 300 Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Solprate CR 300 Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Solprate CR 300 Tablet is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Solprate CR 300 Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Solprate CR 300 Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Solprate CR 300 Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
Solprate CR 300 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Solprate CR 300 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Solprate CR 300 Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
