Safediclo 20mg/100mg Capsule SR is a combination of two medicines: Diclofenac and Rabeprazole which relieve pain. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain, fever and inflammation (redness and swelling). Rabeprazole is a proton-pump inhibitor which prevents damage to the stomach lining caused by Diclofenac.

Taking a large amount of alcohol can increase acidity and cause acid reflux in the food pipe causing heartburn. This would decrease the effect of this drug and can aggravate your underlying condition.
Safediclo 20mg/100mg Capsule SR is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Safediclo 20mg/100mg Capsule SR is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Safediclo 20mg/100mg Capsule SR may cause headaches, blurred vision, dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. This may affect your ability to drive.
Safediclo 20mg/100mg Capsule SR should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Safediclo 20mg/100mg Capsule SR may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Safediclo 20mg/100mg Capsule SR should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Safediclo 20mg/100mg Capsule SR may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Regular monitoring of liver function tests is recommended in patients with liver disease if this medicine is to be taken for a long time.
