Pinquin Ointment is a skin lightening medication. It works by reducing the amount of a pigment (melanin) that causes darkening of skin.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Pinquin Ointment is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
