Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Pruf-P Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Pruf-P Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Flupirtine and Paracetamol, which relieves pain. Flupirtine is an analgesic (pain reliever) which works by blocking transmission of pain signals to the brain to lower pain perception. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and an anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever and pain.

Taking Flupirtine+Paracetamol/Acetaminophen with alcohol can cause liver damage.
Pruf-P Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
No information is available on the use of Pruf-P Tablet during lactation. Please consult your doctor.
It is not known whether Pruf-P Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Pruf-P Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Pruf-P Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Pruf-P Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Pruf-P Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
However, the use of Pruf-P Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
