Take Tamsulosin 30-60 minutes after the same meal each day.
Tamlocept 0.4 Capsule PR is an alpha blocker. It works by relaxing the muscles around the bladder exit and prostate gland so urine is passed more easily. This helps empty the bladder completely and reduces the need to pass urine frequently or urgently in BPH.

Taking tamsulosin with alcohol may lower your blood pressure. This can cause dizziness or feeling like you might pass out, especially when getting up from a sitting or lying position.
Tamlocept 0.4 Capsule PR is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Tamlocept 0.4 Capsule PR is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Tamlocept 0.4 Capsule PR does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Tamlocept 0.4 Capsule PR is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Tamlocept 0.4 Capsule PR is recommended.
However, limited information is available on the use of Tamlocept 0.4 Capsule PR in patients with end stage kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
Tamlocept 0.4 Capsule PR should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Tamlocept 0.4 Capsule PR may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
